We’ve thought about putting turbines in at our home in Costa Rica. Its on a hill and get plenty of wind from December through March. We’re just worried about the little birdies around the place. Aren’t those things just like a flying wildlife cuisinart?

I love the way the wind turbines look.
Drive across Europe and clusters of the long, elegant spoked poles against the rolling plains of green are magnificant.
I have heard about the worry that birds may meet an untimely death, but here’s a website that says otherwise:

Destroy the wind turbines they are ugly, noisy and inefficient. Also chopping machines for birds!
