Fall in Love With Your City! Cultural Corridor is a program of the Ministry of Culture and Youth, implemented since 2011, in order to restore the public’s love for the parks of downtown San Jose. The focus of the program is to plan events and activities that provide a balance of rest, fun, education and physical activity for the public of all ages. Held every Saturday at various parks through San Jose, the program includes workshops and constructive visual arts, folk dance, African dance and hip hop and breakdance, yoga, swing criollo, presentations, music and performing arts and circus, storytelling, urban sports, games, traditional and interactive, exhibition of handicrafts and environment friendly products, fair and book exchange, workshops and poetry readings.
The program offers visitors the opportunity to actively participate in a varied program to fully enjoy and in harmony with nature, architecture and culture in the parks.
