so we’ve got these 2 pieces, we’ve
glued them back together with
resin, taking care to align the
stringer ( wooden spine ). you
can’t do this part
precisely enough. after figuring
a way to clamp and hold things
together go ahead and glue them,

piece. don’t worry about holes,
gouges or anything, just a snug
fit with maximum contact to
ensure a good set, initially, so
you ( or we ) can go on from
there. the photo shows the resin

Hi, I’ve never blogged before, but
here I go. I will try to provide
insights into my world, and my
world lately consists of making
surfboards, exhibiting them as
art ( all around the world
actually) and all the peripheral
stuff that goes along with being
an artist in NYC. Specifically, I
will be doing a demo in the next
few days on how to fix a
surfboard that has been broken
into 2 pieces. Rather than
tossing it, or turning it into a

Here’s a photo from earlier this
year of the healing center, just
as I was about to get bodywork
done (by Lisa–I think that was her
name). The staff usually uses the
small rooms, but I’d volunteered
as a “guinea pig” in a teaching
session.

Here is the next stop at the
Mercado Central to buy loofahs
from Jeffry.
This is an incredible maze of
stalls from vegetables, herbs,
plastic wares, leather goods,
tee-shirts, kitchenwares, flowers
and yes, even loofahs.
