Karen Arras and Willow Zuchowski and the Harmony crew are implementing an experimental approach to the Harmony gardens. By integrating an even higher percentage of native species to the hotel grounds, we hope to eliminate the non natives left over from the previous hotel, create more food and pathways for the local wildlife all the while maintaining an esthetically pleasing and lush environment year round. Not an easy task given the extreme seasons we live with. Here Karen and Willow select which plants are ready to be moved from the nursery to the gardens.
