Here’s the same gas station, a
couple minutes later. The guy who
had just closed down shop turned
back on the lights & filled up the
quad. Success!

We showed up at the Nosara gas
station, and it looked closed for
the night. Here’s Tammy on her
quad. You can see her hands in
the universal gesture that means
“What? The Nosara gas
station is closed for the night?”

You can tell that there’s a
cultural shift happening, when
“six degrees” no longer
means “six degrees of separation”
but “six degrees of global
warming.” Here’s a new book

amidst all the traveling

involving barf etc, major bouts
of dure, we did make it. we didn’t
get to surf the day we left
nyc/arrived Nosara but mostly
cause of ‘issues ‘along the way-
it’s easily possible and
something that is really fun,
leave NYC before dawn and surf as
the sun sets in Nosara. since we
didn’t surf we took some

But now I know what it’s like to
be the parent of a crying child
