Here I had the pleasure of meeting a family preparing these tasty corn treats called rosquillas, in preparation for Easter. These are handmade, mixing corn and cheese, rolled into circle like ‘very small’ donut shapes and cooked in open fire ovens.
You can find these treats in local grocery stores and sometimes, if you are lucky, at roadside stands.
