yes the holes are filled, then you lay whole sheets of glass over everything, to make the board the way it was- here’s a picture of the nose with the first layer of glass over the whole thing. notice the pattern- that means the glass is nice and taut- draw all the resin out ( less weight ) , let dry, sand add more resin….
