so here we have the bottom of the board, after it has been glued together. I have taken a grinder and with a thin wheel cut a long skinny hole along the the stringer, just big enough to slip a 2 foot long long piece of thin aluminum into to act as a brace. surfopedics. the integrity of the stringer has been compromised so we need to strengthen the whole thing. The only problem with this method would be if the board broke apart again and somehow the exposed pointy piece of metal somehow became dangerous… Shouldn’t happen, I’ll overdue the glass part to make surf of that. once the metal piece is in this hole I’ll stuff it with fiberglass, and all other holes /gouges too to try to get a smooth surface to wrap with glass again and cover with resin. to be continued
