This is the beginning of the journey to find out about loofah plants.
Back up, at the Healing Centre located in the Harmony Hotel we offer body treatments using all natural local organic plants. The loofah is an incredible fibrous plant that helps to open up skin cells and get the lymph moving. It grows above ground and not in the ocean as is the common belief.
So here is our first stop, at a local Costa Rican nursery; Vivero, to pick up a loofah plant which in spanish is referred to as a “paste”. They don’t know where or how I can buy one. Hmmmm……?! This is the nursery that all the other 10 nurseries said would know about the loofah plant. Again, hmmmm….?!
