I wanted to address this new blog by writing about the water situation in the project. As a member of Board of Directors of the Nosara ASADA (water company) it is a great concern of mine that the growth in the past few years has had a impact which most are not aware. During the months of March and April our months with the most visitors and the driest of the year. We have not been conservative with our water usage. Many gardeners water plants that will snap back in the dry season. They often leave hoses running for hours, over-spilling into the road. Many individuals shower without turning off the water between lathering and rinsing. There are many more issues of concern but i wanted to chip the ice berg.

Thanks
Rick Walker

They’re pressing concerns for sure. I remember, in Europe, speaking to a European who found it strange that on this hemisphere, we left the shower running between lathering and rinsing. It was one of those moments where ‘normal’ suddenly seemed kind of silly.
