If you are familiar with the 6 year old weekly, The Week(all you need to know about everything that matters), and I hope you are, then you may appreciate my adoration for it’s Editor-in-Chief, William Falk. I very rarely read the editor’s letter in most publications(yawn), but since The Week contains no original writing by it’s staff, the editor’s letter is alluring when you want to know who’s behind it all. A small group of senior editors, including Falk, write the letter each week with wit and experience. One can appreciate an expanded media mind in a world of constant bad news bombardment on war (civil and otherwise), racial hatred, the global climate crisis, anna nicole smith’s burial plans and so many more depressing events. William Falk speaks his truth in relation to being human amongst the rubble. An obvious liberal(smile), William Falk somehow always hits our society’s current consciousness no matter which way we lean, and I always turn the page with a smile or a further thought on which to expand my mind. Support The Week, it saves paper - a compendium of all the World’s newspaper highlights, and it innovates the idea of staying informed while learning to hear EVERYONE’s opinion.

P.S. I was going to upload a googled photo of WF, but upon seeing the postcard of the lush entry into the Harmony Hotel, I remembered all the great memories of my trip there and it satisfied. xxx

    I have to agree. I love the Week and its the one pub I can share with my Father-in-Law :-)

    Ha Ha… I was coming to write the same thing - about how much I cherish being able to share it with my parents. It is the point from which we are able to talk about world events without an immediate conservative/liberal divide since the Week pulls from papers and magazines that represent both point of views. … I am so grateful to have that resource b/c sometimes those divides are artificial (but sadly, not always!!!)
