I arrived in Nosara on the evening of Jan 5th, dead-tired. That night, Paul Miller was DJ-ing at the Tropicalia, a local Nosara disco that is, by all accounts, a surreal scene. The plan was to take a nap, and then make the trip with everyone else to the Tropicalia. However, the king-sized bed in bungalow 11 was just a little too comfortable, and the “nap” kind of turned into an all-night slumber.

Early the next morning, with an hour to kill before breakfast, I went to the patio to read. Outside, it became apparent that a difficult decision had to be made:

Hammock?
Or rocking chair?

I’ll bet $2 you chose the hammock.

    Am I right???

You know — I went for the hammock first, but then decided I wanted to sit up to read my book! Interesting choice, hm!?

One’s first step in wisdom is to kuesteon everything - and one’s last is to come to terms with everything.
